white crust on engine?

Default white crust on engine?

i got some white crust on my alternator and the pulley, what is it?

it's probably just the aluminum corroding a litte bit. Not much you can do about it really unless you just dry scrub it. Won't hurt anything, so I wouldn't worry about it.

Yep, It's oxidation. My alternator and accessory brackets had a good bit when I swapped engines. If you have a few hours, pull her off and clean her up with a wire brush.

It's dried up drool from when you saw it was a 5.3
