Default Whipple Specs....parish8 and other please help

What is the stock pulley rated at boost wise on the Whipple ??, and what is the max RPM the compressor is rated at ??

What kind of power is put down at the tires by Whipple-charged 6.0's on average ??

thanks for the info...

good info parish....thanks
what was the gas that you were using ??...100 octane ??

given the similar configurations of your old truck and my current one I figure I should probably see low-13's on 8psi (the 4L80 is gonna hurt me some but the 4.10's will cancel part of that out....I'm also stripping off all of the skid-plates, the hitch, the bedliner (Line-X is going on soon) and the battery is getting moved to the back under the bed (it's an Optima)

My first 6 liter made 383 hp and 430 ft lbs at the wheels. Bone stock motor with maniflods, converters, stock injectors, etc on 7 psi. It went 13.30 at 102 if I remember right.

Yup parish8 nailed it with that Lysholm graph it is a little hard to understand at first, but you'll get it.

Stock boost I think is 6psi ??? I know for every 1/4" smaller pulley the boost goes up approx. 2lbs. Boost pressure is all affected by your mods though. i.e. better heads, differnt cam, headers will all drop psi#s because the engine is able to flow mor cfm's.

only place i know of is whipple and they are $60, i have been able to talk them down to $45 before though.

dont worry about ordering a pully till you see where you are at first, otherwise it will be hard to know wich one to get.

your going to run good gas with that, right?

Im gonna run the best gas I can as well as the most boost I can and still keep it 100% streeable....I'm not ordering a pulley until I get it all installed and see what I am running for boost. also, for the moment I am going to have to use the FMU setup that comes with the Whipple to add the extra fuel necessary until I can afford bigger injectors and get it custom tuned

I am also concerened because cmotorsports has already tuned th truck and I'm not sure I can get back in to have them reflash it to stock before I do the install.....they only tuned for 89 octane though so the fuel and spark curve changes were very minimal. in fact, Seth actually richened things up a little across the range to combat a spark-knock issue I was having...so most of the tuning was the shift-points and speed limiter
