Default Whipple/ Radix guys.. Tranny?

For those with whipple or Radix, How soon after install did your tranny go???

Was good for 5 months untill I took out the TM then she went in 3 days.

I lasted a long time with the stock pulley (5.5psi is what we saw with that) and just a Transgo shift kit. As soon as I went toa smaller pulley she went though.

Tranny let go twice before I even got the blower installed. Guess it all depends on how you drive it.

It is going to be luck of the draw. You need to remember that the life of your trans will be based on your driving/maintenance habits. If you are WOT all the time (like me) then you will be replacing the trans SOON.

5k miles and still going strong. 2k with 10lbs of boost. I know it's coming.

I had mine rebuilt when I was installing the RADIX and cam. coast clutches were shot, low/reverse clutches were worn, but still good, 3/4 clutches showed excessive wear, and the band was damn near burnt up, but I was at fault for that one.

That was all the mods in my sig except for the cam and RADIX that did that.

Hope to get mine built up next week. Hopefully it will hold together that long.
