Whipple HELPERS!! Computer / Harness questions..
#1
I received my PCM from Nelson's today and have started the process of getting rid of the Whipple computer...
I've attached a picture with the two black wires that go to the two infectors in front of the motor, they lead from the Whipple Computer harness, where should they go now? Also, could you please take a look at the second harness photo and give me an idea of what goes to what??
Please help! Appreciate it...
Thanks,
Matt
BTW: This is a 2000 Silverado, 5.3

The whipple should have come with a plastic plug to put in place of the computer plug. This bypass plug returns your factory harness connections that were modified by the whipple install. Once you disconnect the whipple computer, you should be able to remove any of the output wires such as the aux injector wires that are left. BTW Nelson uses some fairly aggressive timing, but oddly enough, a fairly rich WOT power enrichment setting. If you have access to HP tuners there are some good gains to be found fine tuning his program.

[QUOTE=digital]So with the aux injectors, just leave them installed but with no power leads connected?

Yep, just unplug them at the aux injectors. Something else you can do is to remove the braided fuel lines that supply those aux injectors fuel, since they no longer need to be fed fuel. Personal choice here, as the stainless lines look nice, but really don't serve any function for you anymore.
