i have the 10lb pulley on my 5.3 silverado and i was amazed to see the boost guage hit 11psi. it was mostly 10lbs but it hit 11lbs for about 800rpms. i am afraid it has a slight knock at idle but its hard to tell. i did find metal shavings on the oil plug tho:/ anyway looking for a 6.0 now lol any recomendations on what year of 6.0 to look for for an easy swap into a 02 5.3?

 

I ran 14 psi on my 5.3 for over a year with no problems. Why do you think one extra pound of boost for a very short time ruined your engine?

 

I don't, I just worded it wrong I guess. I think the 11lbs of boost together must have done it in. I just put the blower on and now I've got metal shavings in the pan.
