Aghhhh!!! You had to post this now I'm doing another cam too and now you got me woried.
okay back to work (i'm on here for another slight dilema -balancer spinning on the crank)

red, please tell me that u wasn't using a tool to hold the lifters!, i'll be doing a cam swap soon.

When I swap cams I tear it all down and leave the old cam in w/ the new 1 ready to go. I rotate the cam and listen to it. You can hear the lobes brushing the lifters, this means they all stayed up. If 1 or more drop you'll hear it. I sneak the old 1 out and the new 1 in. I've done this 3 times w/ no problems.
