what happens if you cut the cats off and don't get o2 sims. i know a code will be thrown but do you need o2 sims or can you leave it unpluged till you get them. what happens if you never get the sims

I don't know that that's such a good idea. Don't the O2's help determine your AFR? I'm not the best person to ask when it comes to stuff like this, but I would think twice b/f cutting the cats off and not changing the tune.

The rear 02s are not really needed.
Just gut your cats and unplug the rears. Then have someone tune them out. I ran like that in my truck for a long time N/A. My LTrims were perfect and even with that big cam, no cats, longtubes ect. I still got 15.5mpg. My best stock was about 16.5mpg.
Just remember to have them turn COTS off. That's aprox. another 5-10rwhp there.

When you cats start getting overheated the PCM will dump more fuel to aid in cooling them down. With COTS on and no cats your fuel trims will sometimes go out of wack and not be as steady as it can be without COTS on.
