whats the trick to put the ATI belt on?

No trick with the belt routing you have to almost take the entire blower off to get a new belt on there ..
I'm being lazy about installing the new pulley for that reason <img border="0" alt="[bullshit]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_bs.gif" />
Get that thing running
pay a little attention to where the stock intake tube and the ati incooler piping meet. i kept blowing it apart at that joint.

Got her running Jim. I left the blowoff/bypass open to atmosphere, left the PCV open to atsmosphere. I know you don't like the FMU. but where should I start with it?
It is almost all the way closed right now. From what I see in the manual, that is the furthest pressure builder. I am not seeing any black smoke or anything like that. I don't really feel the boost till it hits about 4000, then the fuel press skyrockets to about 85 or 90. I have a feeling the FMU is causing it to not run a s good as it could, cause I don't really feel the power till it is winding up. My hoses are all staying together so far. I had ATI send me a piece of coated pipe that fits in the plastic tubing like you did, and it is staying tight. The part that goes onto that one, tha also is connected to the MAF, is kinda jackassed. I had to mess with it alot ot get it to go on there, but it is staying so far.

what does ATI say what to do with the Pcv fitting on the throttle body?
Did you cap your fittin on the tb ?
That FMU was nothing but trouble for me i never did get it running really good
Do you have ATap ? or something else to monitor o2 sensor readings. the Best way to tune it in is on a wideband dyno
the Fmu in my opinion makes it feel really choppy when the boost kicks in
your starting to see boost at what rpm?
you should start to see some boost at around 3500rpm with stock manifolds
Don't beat on it too much not knowing how much or how little fuel your dumping in

After taking the ATI off and on several times to either get at bolts, and trying to get the belt on, I finally got it on. What is the trick to putting the belt on without taking off some of the mounting bolts, or idlers? I'm sure there is a way, but it is pretty confusing when you start looking at it. Today I am tryingto move the battery cables a little, cause they are right in the way of the intercooler hose, and put the throttl body intake and stuff together, it's almost all the way on! I'd say the design is a pain in the *** to get it mounted alright. If anyone has a trick witht the belt that would be awesome! Thanks. Sam

I capped that fitting on the TB yes. I will probably have to hook up the PCV and blow off for emissions or something. They are every picky here, and mine is up in July or something close.
I have a question. After I got it all together, I see that it says to hook up the pcv to a pre drilled hole on the Procharger inlet elbow. Is this a hole on the air filter fitting?
I never saw this if it is. I will have to look tomorrow if so. I don't remember seeing a hole there, except the blowoff inlet, and I blocked that off, because my blowoff is just blowing into the air under the hood. Why would they have compressed air blowing up to the air filter so it can blow back out the air filter?
The PCV I don't want sucking oil thru there, so why not just blow into atmosphere?
I will install my PE enrichment tune tomorrow, and the TM removed. My tranny is hating me already.
BTW-Jim,I will try to Autotap it tomorrow and see what the Ltrims look like. that will give me some idea of what the FMU should be + or - some. I will try to get dynoed and wideband at the only place in town, that never called me back yet. Bastages.

Hey Sam, good to see that your supercharger is finally on. My intake elbow didn't have the hole for the PCV either, so I drilled my own. If you're routing that to the atmosphere, you might want to vent it into some sort of catch can. Mine was blowing quite a bit of oil. I made my own oil catch tank out of a CampbellHausfelt(sp?) air compressor filter. I'll try to get you some pics.

Thanks for the hint on the catch can, Pete. I may have not seen until I see it dripping down the side of the motor. What is your FMU set at Pete?
I left mine all the way in(clockwise, tight) for now, I guess that is the fattest for fuel press?
I am doing good so far with the hoses staying together. When I talked to ATI a month or so ago, I asked them to send me a piece of pipe to put inside the plastic intake like youguys have made. It worked perfect! It is a powder coated metal piece similar to the intercooler tubing, but smaller.
