The tonneau prolly helps aerodynamics, but weighs 75-100 lbs. The guy at LineX says they shoot about 50 lbs of coating in one, that seems high to me. I'll get Granny to mess with the timing tables, and take the sway bar links off, and see if it will go quicker.

We didn't touch the timing tables, because I don't want to run Super, so the truck has a bit more in it. Whats the fastest time for a similar setup. Thanks,

60': 2.16
1/8: 9.26
mph: 77.38
1/4: 14.40

That's a great time for your mods!

I am right there with ya, but I have long tubes. Also, my truck doesn't pull for **** on the top end any more and I'm not sure if it's KR or running lean.

Oh, and my race weight with me in it is 4260.

Congrats!

Regular side, but I have a stripped model. No power windows, door locks, center consol, etc. I drop the hitch, tailgate, spare, front sway bar, jack, and any loose items that I can remove. Plus I only weigh 155.

All total I think I'm dropping somewhere around 200 lbs off street trim.

I don't think so, its my daily driver work truck. I would like to do the Ls1 fans, though.

Seeing Red Again, how did you get your truck that light? I've got a stripper too. I weigh 210. I might try taking the tonneau and tailgate off at the track to see if it picks up. I think the tonneau prolly helps the mph.
