Greggo's right .. There's mroe than one place to get a custom tune. MTI and TSP have even advertised their mail order tunes in here, so I know it's available.

I'm a big advocate of do it yourself though ... if you have the time, you will appreciate it MUCH more if you do it yourself.

These guys don't get cars to go 9 sec and under without knowing how to do a tune either.

That's a good point ...

Not a bash, but I don't think any of the other tuners mentioned in this thread have gotten passed the 12's.

i suck at tuning and would never be able to put up with the bitching if something happened to not be pefect when i sent it out. some people expect perfection and bitch about the littlest things.

i will be happy to share any thing i have learned right here on these boards if you go the do it yourself route. there is lots of help in here and it really isn't that hard to get some nice gains from hptuners.

i would recomend a wideband 02 set up to anyone that is looking to go very far with their moding. if your want to run nitrous or boost or even just a cam and bolt on's i think the wideband is worth the money and piece of mind to know your fueling is exactly where you want it.

well now if you realy want to share
hook your mega squirt up to my truck and lets see what it can really do.

don't mean to take any funds away from nelson, but if your going to be putting on mods a little at a time, i say look around for some one close
for the tune, that way mod go's on update the tune, another mod go;s on update again.

I do think that a dyno/track tune is the best.
