What would it take to get a 5.3 with a supercharger, cam, exhaust, intake, blah blah to 500hp to the wheels? Lets say a gt2-3 cam and tvs1900 supercharger without nitrous or meth, everything else is fair game.

it seems 10# is a good place to stop.. but it all depends on the tune.. get greedy with the timing and you can pop a stocker on 5#...

ok ok...look, I have a front inlet R1900 with a 3.2" pulley, GT2-3 cam, full exhaust. I put down 515 or something at 8.5lbs boost.

As far as how much boost a stock bottom end can take...i was pushing it with 11.5lbs before with the 112 and nitrous.

Haha that was fast, I wasnt actually expecting an absolute answer, but im not complaining

How much timing were you running? What kind of dyno? Whats the powerband range with the gt2-3 and the r1900? Sorry for all the questions but you basically have the setup I am building up to.

Im guessing you had stock heads, intake, and throttle body? Meth?

Bill has an l33(9.9to1 5.3l) so that is going to help make better numbers at a givin boost pressure. This is a within reason far as when running pump gas.
