What Water Temps are you running?

I have a stock thermostat an I run at about 198. It sounds like that is not a 160*. what is the stock thermostat an an 01 gmc 5.3L?

I believe that it's 195*

IMO I dont think that he has a 160 but maybe a 180. When I had a 160 my temps always ran right around 173-180.

Mines always about 174 degrees cruising.

You guys crack me up. I'll listen to what you have to say about air conditioning, but whatever you say about "winter" and "a cold night" have to be taken with a grain of salt.
