What supercharger would you suggest for a 5.3 tahoe?

Would towing uphills (example) be a problem with any of the superchargers mentioned? Does it put too much stress if in 4wd? Thanks. i appreciate everybodies feedback

ATI would not be my first choice for towing. I would go with a Whipple or Radix. As for rpm dependant, I make my max torque at 3500. It just depends on the setup. If you go ATI you will need a stall.

From what ive read and researched I think im going with the Radix supercharger. It seems like the most complete kit also(great for driveway installs).
Now how long will the 5.3 last with the stock pulley in the Radix kit? I dont really drive the truck too easy to begin with.
And last but not least.....Can you install and uninstall this unit with no signs of it ever being there? thanks again

the 5.3 will last ALOT longer than your tranny. i would expect to get over 100,000 miles out of that motor with the radix at the stock boost, these things are built tuff. if you get a real posi and toss on some slicks and beat the hell out of it your tranny could go away prety quickly.

My best e.t. with my '01 Tahoe 5.3L 4wd is 13.93@97.4 with a 2.04 60'. It weighs 5750lbs.
