What is the standard rear gear ratio for truck?

3.42 more than likely if it's a 2wd. 3.73 is an option.
4wd 3.73 unless opted for the 4.10's.
You can look at the RPO codes on the sticker in the glove box to see what gears. GT4 is the 3.73, GT5 is 4.10, not sure what 3.42's are, but I would guess and say GT3.

Look in my link to my RPO index for all the info you need.
But the standard is 3.42
The 3.73's come with the towing package.

GH0: 3.54:1 Rear Axle Ratio
GT4: 3.73:1 Rear Axle Ratio
GT5: 4.10:1 Rear Axle Ratio
GU4: 3.08:1 Rear Axle Ratio
GU6: 3.42:1 Rear Axle Ratio
HC4: 4.65:1 Rear Axle Ratio
