Default What Size Pipe To Run With 422

Would 3 inch through and through be too big for the motor. The reason is there isnt too many great shops around here that bend 3" inch pipe. Might have to make a road trip

I believe dual 3" would be more like it. Lots of the car guys are going with dual 3" even on cam only 347s. You know your h/c 422 is going to breathe a lot more that they do.

Three inch would be the way to go! Just be sure to run an X, or an H pipe. We found with our 408CI (452HP to the ground) in our 02' Tahoe it helped our torque!!

true dual 3" (with X pipe) You will need to let that engine breath easily.
