Default What Size Injectors?

I just installed a 6.0L into my Avalanche & I completely forgot about replacing the fuel injectors. I'm pretty sure the ones from my 5.3L won't be enough, especially since it has stage 2 heads & a Lingenfelter cam. What are you guys using? Would stock 6.0L inj's be enough? Who sells them on here?

Mark

I think some 8.1L injectors will be enough (36# at truck fuel pressure) for N/A. Nelsons has them or ebay.
If you want a little extra injector the 8.1 Marine injectors are rated for 42# and are also a direct fit.

You need to see if your truck had the flex fuel 5.3L in it. If it did, you have more than enough injector. If not, find some L18 or marine 8.1L injectors.

It was available in 03', I'm just not sure if it was available on the Avalanche or not.

So that could mean they'll be OK. But if they are only 28s, then I doubt it. The 6.6L in my TA before the blower was undernourished with 28s & perfect with 42s....looks like the Delphi 42s that Nelson sells might be the answer. Thanks all!

Personally that's probably what I'd go with. They idle like a stock injector and you won't run out of injector with them.

If the price isn't a problem I think the 42's are the best choice wish I could afford some.
