Default What Muffler to Use Stock Pipes?

I just want to change the muffler on my truck and keep the existing piping. Do I need a muffler with offset in and offset out in order to use the existing exhaust?

Mine were center/center on my other dynomax mufflers. Also there are alot of straight through mufflers too.

Is there a easy way to run true duals from the cats back? The stock ypipe looks like its 2.5" diameter.

Yeah I guess you would call it easy driver side pipe comes around under the tranny tailshaft or over the top since you have a 2wd then the just run next to each other where the factory pipe is to whatever kind of exit you want. I ran dual 2.5" the factory size is 2.75" get an x-pipe while you are at it.

I was going to say that too, the factory size is 2.75, so if all you do is swap mufflers you need 3"

fogle04, what are you asking for the muffler, and why are you getting rid of it?
