What is 'loud' to you?

It topped out at 7900ish actually. It's just a little 226/230 .605 lift. Wasn't intended to be spinning that fast but was built to survive such mishaps.
I don't think it was making a lot of power at that RPM, the TCC was unlocked and letting it float. Trap was only 99mph in 2nd gear.
The competition was a pretty stock El Camino that was running time trials later that evening.

On the 01 Silverado I bought just 2 days ago, it's running a dual setup, but it still has the cats on it, but it's straight piped after the cats. To me, it's really not loud at all. I do also have a cammed/true duals 02 WS6 which I think is really loud. I wish the truck sounded more like my car. I plan on doing 1 7/8" headers and changing up the exhaust. I like the Flowmaster 10 series mufflers, so maybe I'll run two of them on a custom dual setup. That should be pretty loud I'd imagine.
I'm still here! Nothing is "too loud" to me. I love it all as long as it sounds good to my ears.

Id say that my setup is loud outside of the truck. In a tunnel youd swear theres a race car in there. But inside with the windows up is almost unbelievable how quiet it is. Even at WOT.
I like it.
And itll like the VVT1 cam that its getting soon!
