I would have to agree with the guys that said to buy stainless headers. Spend the money and buy Dynatech. They have a long racing history and know headers. As said earlier in this post, you can go too big, depending on the application. The cats do not reduce performance and will help make your truck "enviromentally friendly" so you can pass inspection. I had Dynatech on a 2002 Corvette and loved them. They fit well, did not leak and got about 40 hp with a tune. When I sold the car two years later, the headers still looked brand new and got $1100 for them. Let us know how your truck runs when you get your headers/exhaust done and post some pics.

I think it all depends where you live. If your up north with all the salt on the roads go with stainless fo sho. But im in Tx and dont have to worry about that stuff so save the money for other mods and get the pacesetters coated. There is a proven hp difference from the fancy $700-$1000 stainless compared to the $365-$600 coated LT's but its like 3hp TOPS. Anyways I got mine from texas-speed.com and I dont regret it one bit

Good luck man,
Chris
