why are you using ls1 injector connectors. are the truck connectors different from the cars? I assumed all the connectors were the same (trying to decided what intake, injectors, TB to run on my 5.3L going into my 68 pickup)

LS1 and truck injectors are different. Running LS1 injector and that is why I am using ls1 connectors. HEHE!

BTW: Would love to see pics of the 68'

1TRUESS: Did you have to modify the throttle cable bracket any? How hard is it to splice the wires for the LS1 injectors? I'm trying to figure out if it's worth the trouble to splice the injector wires for the LS1 injectors or make brackets & spacers for the truck injectors...

Thanks for the pics in the earlier post btw!

cut your stock connectors off and soder the Ford pig tails on . . . . or get the adapters.

It all depends on what brand injectors that you have.

I had to modify the bracket. Made one round hole into a square hole and the cruise cable needs to be enlarged. I can get pics of the end result.

OK, so I had to make this...

...look like this...

...and came up with this. Sorry for the crappy pic. I still need to do the cruise cable hole. just need to use my brother's drill press and one of his bits, mine are too small.
