Default what gear do yall run in at the track

I havent benn to the local quarter yet ,but soon i will.I was just wonderin what gear to select? Some tell me i wont git the top dpeed in o-d,some say i wont get enough in 3rd?? I dont know who to believe so could yall tell me.

Put it in "R" for race and you should be just fine!!! J/K Drive or overdrive both work the same for me-the computer does what it wants to anyway. The only way to know what your truck likes is to go to the track and experiment. <img border="0" alt="[Burnout]" title="" src="graemlins/burnout.gif" />

Not bad for a truck with just a supercharger, tuning and exhaust. Kent.

start out in "D", after the tranny shifts from 1-2, drop it to 2nd & leave it. that's all you should need. <img border="0" alt="[Truck]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_truck.gif" />
