well, if you did the pulley and efans you would see a decent gain. or the money you spend on both of those you could get the new pacesetter long tubes.

i wouldn't do a TB or shorties

Dude, get a Wester's tune FIRST !!! It'll give better results than fans, headers, pulleys and t/body COMBINED, and be less expensive. And, you can have it tweaked for free with every change you make therafter.

Start modding and keep the stock cpu, and you'll utimately run into a wall with the mods and start seeing power losses.

Westers does good tunes for stock trucks when he first recieves your $500. After he had my money, I had to wait almost 6 weeks for a tune that was so bad it detonated at part throttle driving. He then refused to fix it until I porved to him that I had the injectors I said I had. He was the biggest waste of $500 Ive ever even contemplated. Wester's crap neccessitated me spending another $400 with a local tuner just so my truck was drivable!! You could spend the $500 on HPTuners, add a little timing, and firm up your shift points and get better service and utility in the future.

Other than that EL fans, UD pulleys, and those Pace Setter longtubes would make a nice difference.
