Other then that you have a good plan! The one thing you are missing is a converter and cooler. A converter should be first on your list in my opinon. It helps a stock engine a lot and makes massive gains with a converter. .3-.5 stock and .5+ easily with a cam.

The 100 shot is a for sure in my opinion. A 100 shot with a bit of inteligents can be ran for ever without any issue. Unless boosting I don't know why anyone who is drag racing a budget build wouldn't run at least a 100 shot.
Intelligence

oh the irony

I went 13.3@104 1.9x 60ft with almost same mods and with a TB converter, then 11.8@114 with a 150 shot on 28" slicks. Added tbss intake, 3600 converter and asp pulley, dropped it down to 13.0 then added worked heads and my best was a 12.8 with out taking off my tonneau cover and in hotter weather than previous runs. Oh and had 4.10 gears, and the high lift version of the cam.

was that off a footbrake gray??? thinking of getting a trans brake also just dont know if it would help i know most races are won within the first 60' so im trying to the most stuff i can to get it off the line with the most torque and not spin to much...ima invest in a stall but only after the warranty runs out on my tranny thats the main reason i havent gotten one already

Yes, off the the footbrake. 60ft with the 150 off the line was a 1.62. Im sure it could of gone maybe mid 11's with the other mods I added later. Buddy had the low lift version of the cam, and I belive he hit a 11.7@112.

I'd be very happy with 11.7 at 150 with this setup but then I'd prolly buy a stall and bigger cam lol

any stall that is a lock up converter(99% of them are) is fine for out of town.

I drove my 3200 stall from NW ohio through PA's hills and mountains to DC and back.

im thinking a 3000-3200 may be in the lines as to what i will be needing and looking for prolly i changed the nitrous in the tune with blackbear before they tuned so i can shot the 150 to it everything ive seen shows i should be safe there for little i will be spraying it.
