The reason I think this is such a good deal is because they actually have it listed as an LQ4, but it's out of an escalade meaning its an LQ9. Their price is about $500 less than they normally charge for an LQ9
Um unless it's brand new $2000 is NOT a good deal. There was a lq9 that went for $555 on ebay the other day

$2000 is an outstanding deal for a pristine 06 LQ9

Any LQ9 that goes for $555 is a high mileage, beat up motor.

Schram is a top notch seller, they package everything professionally and there will be no surprises when you get the engine. If I could go back I would have bought from Schram.

LOL, I wish pt.net had a User ignore list so I wouldn't get myself in trouble with noobs.

Anyways, if you look around, there are plenty of good deals you just have to look around. I've bought all kinds of stuff and sold it for profit on here, ebay, other sites, etc.

If you aren't in a hurry you can get a complete LQ9 in excellent shape for under $1500. If you don't need an LQ9 I've seen LQ4/4l80e combos with less than 50k miles go for under $1000 on craigslist and ebay.

I bought my LQ9 from LKQ. I would NOT buy from them again. I'm not going to get into why, but I have very good reasons.

Furthermore, I have 1st hand experience with them, and I'm thinking you do not. If you even bothered to look at that listing you would see that what is pictured isn't even an LS engine. You're basically bidding on something you've never even seen before. I really don't want to get into an argument here, but to me, I will gladly pay $900 more for a 3 year newer engine with less than half the miles and in perfect condition. And they have the "best offer" too. So it can be had for less than 2g's. If you can find me a pristine 06 LQ9 for under $1500 please let me know, I will yank out my 02 LQ9 and put the new one in.

As well, if anyone is the newb, it's you. Check the join date

LOL.

In that case I could have used your help when I was first looking for my engine.
