Default What do you do 0-60?

From about 10 stopwatched runs I do 0-60 in 7.5 seconds with the mods below. I have an open differential and there really is no kind of performance launch possible. I can't go WOT any time in first gear.

I am asking about 0-60 b/c that the only kind of runs I've been able to do. With that said, I must say my time is kinda dissapointing. I would like to see around 6.2-6.4 0-60 times. I will say that I was running 9.4 0-60 with everything in my sig but my stall and tune. So, that's two seconds there.... but I can't decide if my truck is messed up in some way or it just really suffers from lack of traction (which I would like to think is so).

I just kinda want to compare what other trucks like mind do. I see a lot of 1/8th and 1/4th times, but, as I've stated before... I don't have anything to compare to that with...

So... what does yours run?

Buy a G-Timer or G-Tech Pro

I don't have a stop watch so I can't help ya. On my G-Timer it says 0-60 is 3.8-4.0.

That is insane!

How close is the g-timer to what your actualy 1320 time is?

Ok... and not you've made me decide that with you doing it in almost hald the time as me, I must have a messed up truck. Given.... you are putting down probobly 140hp/180ft-lbs more than me... but damn.

LOL... and they say a stopwatch is inaccurate?

Basically... what I'm looking for is... "Is my truck on par for the mods and the lack of traction?"

0-60 between 6.5 and 7 seconds, under 6.0 with traction. I don't really count though since I don't have a Gen-III or LSx motor.

Using the trip timer in my truck, it appears to be a little less than 7 seconds.

So your almost stock truck does it in under 7.... and my modertately modded truck does it in over 7?

I think I'll wait and buy a differential. If it doesn't bring it to the low 6 seconds 0-60 I will sell the truck.

My G-tech says 4.1 seconds. FWIW, if i put it in 2wd, my time is in the 7.0 range.

I don't think I'm a good comparison for you. Our trucks are way different. I also have an MTI tune and was timing this in an extremely inaccurate way. Don't get discouraged. Doesn't your cam really help on top end and not out of the hole?
