I put my OBX headers on at a local speed shop, that had about 15 cars with headers on them, and the owner of the place said they were one of the best quality headers he had ever seen. Mine fit perfect, and the only problem I have is that they don't look nearly as good after they get hot , and turned 5 diferent colors instead of being shiny.

They have almost exact same fitment as the old style dynatech headers. They fit fine on 2wd truck but you have to bang a few primaries to get them to fit on a 4wd truck. Also people have problems with small parts getting bent through shipping. Some of the accessories are kind of cheap.

All in all they look nice. My buddy has them on his 4wd truck and aside from what I mentioned they are nice.

The obx's come with a Y pipe that if installed correctly will mount up to your stock catback.

The headers are really good quality but mine came with no directions so it kind of makes you think.

Man, those look nice and that's a steal for SS at that price! I might have to think about those to replace my pacesetters some day.

I got aem dc's and they are nice the coating is good, the fit is nice, but they hit the heat shield on the drivers side. that is an easy fix. I had a buddy weld up about 5 magnaflow J bends and 5 foot of 2.5 to make my true duals and x-pipe. it really wakes them up. i just need a tune now.

Hey mine hit the drives side heat shield too.

What was the fix? Just take it off or bend it?

Thumbs up

As for fixing the heat shield with the AEM's, I used a lead hammer just hitting the heat shield in where the primary bends hit the shield. I ended up with about 3/8" - 1/2" of clearance where the two primaries were hitting before. I haven't had any problems with engine torque causing rubbing.
