i'm very curious as to what i run and havent had a chance to get to the track. Can yall give me yalls opinions as to what i may run? I have a 2001 silverado extended cab with a 5.3. I currently have LT's, throttle body spacer, underdrive pulley, ls1 fans, posi trac with 3.73's, Spectre CAI, custom tune, msd wires, and stock 17's.

If possible after what i run now tell me what a 100 shot would do to my 1/4 mile time and the lsxr fast intake..... (just ordered and is currently on the way) thanks

9.5-9.7 @ 72-73mph 1/8th mile.

8.8 @ 76-79mph with the juice.

Well I can give you my time to go off of. Consider that mine is a 2001 5.3 4x4, with 22's, ls1 efans, stock G80 3.73's, vette servo and a tune. Thats basically it. 170,000 miles

Ran a 15.97 twice at like 88-89 mph....in 2wd the whole way. almost full tank of gas, no tailgate LOL

Our buddy Nicksilverado has a 2000-2001 ex cab 2wd 5.3 with like 180,000 miles and ran I think a 15.3? And as far as I know that was completely stock. not even a tune. So consider that and think about traction too.....

a 100 shot and a fast intake will help out a little then you really get to worry about traction...

lol yea traction problems have seem to be kicking in after my latest mods being done. I plan on trying the nitto drag radials out soon. I have a buddy that runs a 15.2 stock in his single cab and i can pretty much smoke him. My main concern is trying to get down into the high 13's, if that doesnt happen soon with the 5.3 i'm thinking of swapping to the 6.0 i got sitting around.
