What to do with $600?
#1
I'm getting a little more than $600 back from taxes this year and I want to use it for some performance items. Here is my wish list. What's the best bang for my buck?
1) LS1edit & Atap
2) Yank truck stealth 2400 stall convertor
3) Cam (what cam do you suggest for daily driver/street use?)
I would list a NX kit but I'm not quite ready for that yet. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Keep the springs and gaskets that you are trying to sell. Put the cam on Ebay. It will probably bring $100+ maybe $125. Then get a used cam with mild lift that will work with those springs. I can help you out with some ideas how to get it installed. I remember your posts about how expensive it was when you checked prices.
Also, dont get the Yank 2400. Spend the few extra and at least get the 2600 or 3000. I have the 3000 and love it. I drove a 2600 recently and it felt great, actually a better transition from the stock converter. GM should have given us the 2600 as stock.
Nitrous is super and kicks A**, but its a very limited use item. Only for short bursts at the track or running a street race. Most other mods you will benefit from all the time.
Atap and Edit are great tools. Will you see lots of performance from them? Not too likely. If you keep your truck for years to come or make some big changes, they will be a good investment.

Save an extra $100 bucks or so and get a converter. That is the best bang for the buck IMO, besides a power adder that is. Also, like Big Tex said, don't go with the 2400. I doubt you will see much of a gain, especially in the shift extension. I would say at least get the 3000, trust me you won't be disapointed in performance or drivabillity.
