cost of gear install

yet another question about gears,
About how much (est) should I be charged for a eaton/4 10, install to replace the 3 73/g80. I don't have a "Favorite" shop and havn't needed one until I decided to get a stall and gears. Ther're a few capable shops in my area and was doing some price hunting. <img border="0" alt="[chug]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_chug.gif" />

i brought my gears/posi and installation kit to a local shop and they did it for $200. if u dont have the installation kit id say more like $270.

I have a budy that lives in our town thats been doing gears for me at $50.oo a pop for years now. If you need any more diff work done send me an e-mail.

I paid $300. and parts,but that included auboun posi. install . Make sure whoever does it checks the lash again after a few miles. I really like my 4.10 but it cost a mpg or more.I noticed your running 14's with bolt-ons I think the gear will help more on the street than track,it will jump harder.
