just throw a comp cam and springs, and a 2600 stall in. Then a 75 shot, and it would fly. Did it with my 99' 4dr 4wd Blazer, runs hard.

Not a lot without a hefty price tag. Ironicly, our biggest enemy is the frame. You'd think with that mammoth of a frame we'd get better than a three star crash test raiting.

well actully im installing an LS1 with TR 220/220, S2 5.3 heads, zo6 intake, true free flow dual's, 295's in the back, iv been thanking of adding a 175-200 shot but not to sure of that TR cam would work well with that.
I would like to lose about 250 lbs that would put me at stock wight of an F-body

Ditch the rear bumper for a fiberglass or urethane rollpan and get rid of the spare Other than that Id think it would be more cost effective to do more performance mods as opposed to trying to save more weight.

this is what im thanking now is gutting some of the metal from the back inside, and leaving just enough to reinstall my triming....iv already took the spart tire and rack out and my bumper is already fiberglass, and going to be adding a fiberglass ram air hood for the LS1 intake.... i was hoping maybe someone know of a lighter and better Suspension i could add... even if it only saved me 5 lbs
