are you against camming it? that'd get your 300 mark.

i only want true bolt ons. camming cost to much, and i'm not to sure about cams. i am kinda scared to attempt one. i want to keep my truck reliable. Do cams reduce the life of my engine? also, how much does a decent cam cost installed? thanks

Cams aren't really all that expensive when you look at the cost of other bolt ons. Cams aren't too terribly difficult to install either. If you set aside a Saturday you could knock it out by yourself going slow and taking your time. As far as I know, as long as you follow the directions and do everything right it shouldn't reduce the life of your engine.

Check my sig. I made 304 RWHP without long tubes. Granted i have the L33 but i would think with Lt's you have an advantage. Toss the TB spacer and get a new MAF with the screen in place.
The dual 3" pipes might be hurting your bottom end but should be helping top end.

Edit: This was before the cam

TX, and WhiteZ, I think it will be close to 300 with full bolt ons. Like said, my 04 crew cab, with full bolt ons, minus the long tubes, I was sitting at 279 RWHP, I did the headers and cam at the same time and jumped it up to 321. So it would have been just over or just under 300 with the long tubes.

Trever, the L33's are a different beast. I have seen those things dyno anywhere from 20-35 HP +/-, more than the iron block 5.3 stock for stock.

My truck made 300 rwhp and its only a 4.8.... cam, stall tune, headers, cai,

you should easily hit 300 with a 5.3

i made 287hp 330tq with all the mods in my sig, minus nelson tune, pacesetter lt's, cutouts, aerochambers, cats, ngk plugs,

when i did my dyno, i was running true dual exhaust, with no cats or mufflers, dumped behing the cab, bosch pl4 plugs, and stock manifolds, and i tuned it at some place in my town, not good like the nelson,

so im sure im sittin over 300 now, i just need to get it dyno'd for that
