i had a descreened mass airflow sensor that i THOUGHT i didnt have a problem with. while i was being tuned allen was lookin at his computer wierd and asked if i was descreened. he told me to find one with a screen and come back. he had to adjust something way out of wack to make it run right. as soon as i found a screened sensor he set it back to where it was suposed to be and everything read perfect.

a cam is an real esy install IMO.. if you go just with a mild cam like the "hot cam" you will def notice HP and TQ difference, and will most likely gain some fuel mileage.

descreening is an extremely bad idear. if messes up you MAF, and to tune it is a PIA. to anyone thinking about descreening, DONT DO IT, you will be money ahead in the long run...you dont get much gain from it anyhw.
