what can a 5.3 be bored to? a 5.7 iron block (pretty much LS1?) 6.0? im wondering because im about to start a build of 2 or 3 5.3's. one needs bored. others are okay. jw what all a 5.3 can be bored to or made into like an iron block LS1. or a 6.0 LQ4? thanks

 

No go on a 4" bore like the 6.0. I've heard it's possible to bore to 3.90" LS1 bore, but you should have a machine shop check it for core shift first. But, that's a lot to bore out.
