Question Wet Nitrous Systems: What parts does someone need & other Questions

Which Wet Kit is the best out there? What other parts are involved? How much does the everything cost all together? Can it be dyno-tuned to make sure nothing bad happens?

How good would it work with my cam + P&P 5.3 heads-milled .020 & LS1 valves?

Just thinking of ways to get faster. I figure getting a radix or the turbo get wouldn't ever happen because of the cost.

Most people would say that NX (nitrous express) is the best, and I'd probably agree with them. They warranty their solenoids no matter where you buy them......and there have a full line of accessories and everything is top notch. They also rate their horsepower to the wheels, so a 100 shot should give you about 100hp. The kits can be found used for as low as 300, and new about 600 (I've found ebay has alot of nitrous kits and acccessories for pretty decent prices).

The basic setup would be an EFI wet kit with a mechanical WOT switch (that you would have to put either on your throttle linkage or near the gas pedal. You can buy voltage WOT switches to go with electroic throttle bodies. You're also going to want a heater, as a cold bottle just doesnt have the pressure to spray hard enough - and if you get a heater youre going to need a bottle pressure guage....and the list keeps going. But the bare necessities are the efi kit and a heater+guage. Remote pressure guages, air/fuel cutoff switches, fuel pressure safety switches, purge kits, remote bottle openers etc etc..........its all in how fancy you want to go with it.

I got my kit used for 300 and have probably paid over twice that for the accessories.......all in all about 1k - and if I bought everything new from NX it would be way more than that.
As far as dyno tuning, you just want to make sure your air:fuel and timing is at a safe point at WOT - especially for a big shot (125+)
