Default Well what are my options? Holley valve cover issue

Well I posted a few months back about Holley valve covers and if they would fit my 2000 5.3 and well what do you know they don't lol my coil packs are too small, I guess I need the 72mm coil packs but can I buy some and just throw them on? What are my options? I'm open to stock and aftermarket, I will be camming my 5.3 with shaved 243's but at the moment I just want to run them cause I think they look better than stock valve covers

Will I be able to run those newer coils with out changing anything? Just bolt them on and go?

Pretty much. As long as it fires the plug it'll run.

For reference. FYI in boosted applications many people are reporting that oil Evap gets excessive with the Holleys. Wish this wasn't the case as I was actually thinking of running them on my new motor. At this point I think I'll use LSA covers.

Technically your tune needs to match the coils. Dwell settings are different for each typenof coil.

When i had the holkey valve covers i switched to ls3 coils. I updated the dwell setting to resemble the settings in a ls3 camaro.

Not to Hijack the thread but what are the specs on your motor. Looks like a beast.
