Default The weather caused me to roll over today.

As I was driving off from a stop light, I did not notice any wheel spin so I stept on it a little more and started swifting to the right. By this time I must have been going about thirty but my truck kept going to the right and by the time I knew I was heading out of the road. I did not think I was going to roll over but I ended going into a small ditch. I think this is what cuased my tuck to roll over. Fortunately, nothing happened to me. But my truck's driver side was all dented. That was the only side that touched the ground. The engine was still running and I turned it off. After the wreckerr came for it I turned it just to see how it would sound and heard nothing abnormal but saw a lot of white smope coming out of the exhoust. This was probably due to the water that was in the ditch that went into the exhoust. The rear-driver side tire blew and the rim is all bent because it hit the drainage pipe. The only thing that warries me now is that the differential is locked. In case I were to need a new differential, I am warried that my insurance(Allstate) will not replace my auburn posi unit but will replace it with original. OH.. all this happened when it was raining cats and dogs.

Sorry to hear about that. Like you said, at least your OK.

My experience with insurance companies and aftermarket parts is that they will give you the money to replace things with stock parts. You will probably have to make up the difference for any upgraded parts unless they were specifically added to your policy.

Ouch! That sucks man. Glad you are okay though. I love wet roads. Just not with other cars and ditches around Snow? Rain? One of those never happens and we are lucky to see the other one down here - Gees it's so f-ing hot out here Anyway, insurance companies only replace stock parts. As far as the rear being locked maybe pull the cover and check stuff out or take it to a shop.

It probably smoked because all the oil ran to the one side of the engine. Glad you aren't hurt man.
