Default Are we sure all LQ4's are the same

Just wante dto confirm this before I ordered my engine, only difference between a LQ4 in a yukon denali and a LQ4 in a silverado 2500 is in the programming (aside from the flexplat difference due to the different transmissions). One won't be a "tighter" engine than the other?

LQ4's that went into different vehicle are all the same. However, from what I understand, 99-01 LQ4's had a longer crank snout than the 02 and up...

Actually I think it was a wider rear flange that was bigger on the 99-01's.

Thanks guys, I'm looking at 05 and up just for the reason nightrunner (real name?) mentioned.

ap2002, i'm fairly sure they have the LQ4 due to this page (talking Yukon now, not sierra).

I appreciate all the responses,
Andrew
