Sounds like a good combo,I think 500/500 rwhp/rwtq will be easy.Don't be afraid to rev it to 6500 mine easily pulls 6800 with no dropoff in power.Are you going to run a MAF?

I'm glad you pointed that out

I fully intend to rev it out to 6500rpm I hope to see some decent HP numbers

I tried to pick a pretty Med Cam, not to small, not to big, thoughts?

Quit screwing around and install them allready. When you got em I didnt even have an engine in my truck. Now I'm up and running and your still using those heads as paper weights

Your build is exactly what I have been thinking of doing also. I was going to get an Lq4 from a junkyard and put some heads and a cam and probably my Powerdyne(still debating). Iwas also going to put in oil pump,bearings rings,pushrods, and rod bolts too. If you put new rod bolts in, don't you have to get them resized also? What length pushrods do I need to get (stockers or shorter, longer)?
