What do you mean by shortblock and longblock? Is it LQ4 VS LQ9?

Well, after much consideration, it looks like the shortblock is out of my $$$ right now....

sooo, I'm going to install Katech rod bolts, ARP Head studs during my WCCH Head/Comp Cam install and call it a day.
This will be considerably cheaper and quite a bit faster.

Since I'm in there, should I go for a double roller and a ported & B/B Oil Pump?

thoughts?

Thanks, I'd just like to make sure I'm spending my money on things that point in the direction of necessary, rather than just for the heck of it.

Based on that statement, would you replace the chain and pump?
