Cold air intake doesn't, don't believe an MAF does either. It all falls under the moss-magnuson act i believe.

as long as they cannot prove that the aftermarket accessory is the direct cause of a problem you should be fine.

say you lift your truck, add 44" tires and your front hubs and brakes go out....your lift and tires can clear them of fixing any of it under warranty.

Anything is left to interpretation by the dealer. Just create a good relationship with your service writer.......a nice bottle of whiskey works every time!

Any alteration to your truck is enough justice to void your warranty. Call a LAwyer and ask them.

MAF will definitely void your powertrain warranty - it directly changes the calibration. Air intakes and cat-backs are probably the only safe bets. For anything else, make sure you are in good with the dealer.

I always go through my sales guy if I have any question. I have bought three leases in a row from him, and he definitely wants my business. He can usually smooth over the easy stuff for you.
