Default Warranty Co Trying to Screw Us..Help

My brother has a 2004 Silverado under extended warranty that blew a water pump, overheated (covered repair) and now the coolant level keeps going away. It's not showing up in the oil.

The rep comes and says he sees no evidence of a leak or head cracked. Well you gotta drive it a while or take it off to prove it but it's a screwing as you can see. The dealership said they did and block test and proclaimed a craked head or gasket blown but the adjuster is a rip-off artist.

Can I scan in a way that would show them on paper? I could then have them TechII it in a way he could see the proof?

I took some pics of the plugs he is going to show. The bottom row is the right bank with some white chalky powder like stuff on the front two and a little on the 3rd from front. Look odd to you guys? The shiny stuff is never-seize for the install.

Thanks.

I would just drive it and blow the damn thing up, then get a new motor. Make sure you have documented the fact that you told them it was losing coolant, etc.... Then when the loser shows up just say i told you so....

The plugs look fine IMO. Usually if its loosing water with no visual leaks, then the head is cracked around the middle bolt hole. There is a bulletin on it, and you can actually see the leak. Have they pulled the valve cover off to check? Have they checked for any combustion gasses in the coolant? And if they still don't cover it, then just blow it up. Have a buddy hold it to the floor, while you pour gas down a vacuum line. That should bend a rod pretty fast, and leave no evidence.

Damn this may be the cause of my problems. I've been having a loss of coolant for a while now. I may try and replace my water pump gaskets and if that doesn't work I may start saving for a new engine.

werd, I agree. They will have to replace the motor. The you can buy a used 6.0 with a cam and other stuff for the price. Be careful though. They can also total the truck and just take it from you.
