OK guys, I was playing along but dude, they are right. Borla makes a shorty and Y pipe setup, and I'll have to agree, you are the first with that computer. If this is new stuff that you have gotten that is not avaliable or marketed yet, fill us in on these items we have asked about. The only quadzilla I know of is a Suzuki.

the borla headers are for a camaro...and they bolt right on the truck...and as for the quadzilla computer, quad is a friend of mine...he custom built a computer for me...the headers are easy to put on the truck

Alright, I'm a bit confused......

You apparently have a custom module from Quadzilla, and in one thread you are questioning for info about ls1edit, because "hypertech sucks ***", as you say........Does this mean you currently have the HPPIII, along with the quadzilla module, and are looking into getting ls1 edit as well?

Also, not trying to be an ***, but take out the heads, cam and intake, and well, you're pretty much bolt-ons.....also, not sure about the LS6 intakes fitting either....but who knows, maybe oxidizr can answer that one......

Throw us some 1/4 mile and dyno numbers already.....

i havn't ran it in the quarter yet...not till i finish stroking and sleeving it...i had a hpp3 and it sucked...quad made me a new programmer, but i want ls1 edit cuz it's probably better than what he can do. since he is a desiel specialist. and bolt ons do count for something, cuz this truck with no nitrous and no supercharger will walk all over a super sport camaro

Well you seem pretty confident there for someone who has no dyno numbers or 1/4 slips...So "many" mods and no numbers.......kinda odd if you ask me.....

Hmmm...with just bolt-ons you walk all over SS Camaros. I guess your truck runs better than mid 13's in 80 degree 80% humidity low baro weather because that is what my '01 SS ran with less than 3000 miles on the clock.(Bone stock)

The '00 SS I had ran 13.15 @106 in a little better weather.(Bone stock) Oh wait, I forgot I had aftermarket plug wires on it.

I'm not one to raise the bs flag but, this is just getting more incredible by the post.

John

PS - The heads, cam, and nitrous are not on the truck yet right? Also, no converter?

Gonna raise the flag on this. No way you can beat even a stock 98+ SS Camaro. We all know to much about these trucks. Time to come clean here. Is this a fullsize truck? Is this a reg or ext cab? Is it street legal? Is it a 99+? These are questions that still need to be answered. This I can promise you: If your truck is the fastest stock combo which is a reg cab, 5.3, posi, 3:73, no power options, and with all your alleged bolt ups (no heads/cam which you say is not on yet) you should run in the high 13's at best N/A. That WILL NOT beat a stock SS with an LS1. I assume you are talking about a 4th gen 98+ SS and not a 68 factory SS. If you come to the board making these kind of claims to the crowd that hangs here and can't back it up get ready for loads of skeptism. This is not intended as a flame, but you need to relize these guys know what they are talking about.

I was going to raise the flag in my last post, but decided to give the guy a bit more of a chance.....

Talking about beating an assuming just a STOCK Camaro SS, with your modifications NA, is pushing it. Kinda like the stretch you made when you stated "highly modified"......

Anyone with those kind of modifications has to have at one point in time or another, either visited a dyno, or gone to the track. Assuming you have a blower, you MUST HAVE been to a dyno before.....Not just for numbers but for tuning....Even with N20, I am surprised you haven't seen a track yet.....If you wish to not reveal any dyno numbers, then say so, but don't worry, we're all friends here.

The problem with the internet is, even with dyno sheets and 1/4 slips....it still is never official. Pictures of the modifications etc. is the next best thing.... If you're gonna make claims on a board, have something to back it up.

I wouldn't be surprised if this is linked to the guy who ran a 15.1 stock in a 2000 ext. cab.......but anyway.......who knows.....

here it goes:

Iron blocks don't have sleeves.

You can bore your current 5.3 out a little and add a bigger crank, pistons, etc., and you'd come up with a ~370ci motor.

Or if you are a cheap bastard like me, just throw in some forged pistons and spray the holy hell out of it and wait for your tranny to die.
