Default walbro gss 340 hold pressure? ( UPDATE )

Should a walbro gss340 intank pump hold pressure w/ key off like a stock pump?

Do you know if there is a check valve in the pump itself or is it in the module assembly?

It has to be in the pump since I have bypassed everything else in the module assembly.

Thanks again.
I was talking to my buddy in more detail today about it. I think he F'd up the flexible fuel line in the module. It is running good but pressure bleeds off fast when the pump is off.

Just wanted to Update for anyone that might be interested.

There is a check valve in the outlet of the walbro pumps. If you are not careful when you pull off the rubber cap on the end the retainer might come of w/ it. The valve can fall out then, or get lodged in the hose. Either way you are SOL.
