Default w4m is taking too long.

Its only been about a week but i can't wait.. Im gonna keep that tune until i do more than a full exhaust, then i will go wheatley. I figure for $159 for tune and pcm I can have a decent tune now, and then later on send the tuned one to wheatley for 250 and have him program that one while i keep the stock one in. Basically no down time, and i didnt have 400 bucks to spend for a wheatley this time around. I cant wait to meet up with that hemi again after the tune.

how long did it take for your tunes to come in?

felt good. i wasnt unhappy with my previous nelson tune...but the in person tune addressed some small issues that a mail order tune might not be able to. i dont think i picked up gobs more horsepower either but the driveability is a lot better. especially the t/c lockup points.

4-5 mpg? thats pretty optimistic i would think. im not sure if i gained any mpg since i switched gears around the same time which negated any mpg gain i would have had.

yea the gears might have killed it.

im planning on doing pacesetters, full catless exhaust true duels into an X pipe, then 4:10s and a retune from jesse. When i get headwork done ill give wheatley a call.

I was also thinking of getting a transgo hd2 but they look complicated to install. plus ive been in my buddies truck with a shift kit and it jerks pretty hard while shifting, i dont need that.

It is a good idea to do a shift kit, Transgo HD2 is the popular one. It will jerk hard if more than 1 washer is used and line pressure not returned to stock settings.

ooh yea wheatley will take care of that, i like my servo for now. 1-2 feels better but still slips a little bit but 2-3 feels solid.

180* t stat worth anything?
