if you're slipping it into the throttlebody, just put a little glue on it to hold it into place.

FWIW, in our '98 Z71 5.7 Vortec A4; only mod is a replacement Aerochamber muffler.
Back and forth, 10-30 mi. trips. Tank after tank avg. fuel mileage is dead-on 15 mpg.
I took it for a trip 2 weeks ago. Total nearly 500 miles. 1/4 was 70 mph highway, 1/4 was 55mph 2 lane state hwy. the other 1/2 was 2 lane country road. Twisty, turny, up & down through the central Ozarks of MO.
Overall mileage for the trip was 18.8!

It sounds more like an LS1 with a catback.
I have '99 T/A with the Hooker cat-back/Aerochamber muffler and love the way it sounds so I descided to try their "2 in 1 out" muffler for the truck. I noticed little if any power or mpg increase but the sound was worth the $55

I don't beleive it, I don't care, someone would have to prove it to me. You showed your mileage with flooring it all the time, then when you babbied it. This did not show the before and after results of improved mileage. When I beat on it, I get 14.5mpg, and when I baby it I get 17.8 mpg, with no help of a velocity stack, so what does this mean, not a damn thing!
