I have the Volant on my Silverado SS, I did not add a thing to HP/TQ.......

I Have 01 Silverado 4.8 Jba Headers Volant Ram Air Intake Trans Go Stage 2 Shift Kit Eaton 410 Gears Spintech Exhaust Superchips, Go With Volant I Tell The Difference Right Away I Had A Mac Intake Garbage. People Who Cant Afford The Volant Will Talk Bad About It ,it Even Better When You Get Going Trust Me

I didnt notice any sotp diff. but I am at 4k ft. see my sig for performance gains.

I noticed about a 5-10* drop in engine temp compared to a K&N Drop in.

I've had a UPD and the Volant. I would recommend the UPD to no one and the Volant to everyone. Factory look, polypropeline (sp) material doesn't soak up heat, large/enclosed cone filter, easy to rig up ram air, great fit etc.

But dont expect to feel a huge gain from an intake. You might gain 5hp to the wheels, if that......which may be noticeable in my wifes Ford Focus (Yes theres a Volant on the Focus as well), but no real difference in a large V8 truck. Throttle response/IAT's might be more relavent.
