VHO weried nosie

Default VHO weried nosie

well when i floor it some times i think i can hear my lifter rattle any one eles have this problem? when i run super gas it dont do it

OK, no one got this one? Sounds like detonation to me. You need to run premium in these VHO trucks at all times. Also get rid of that Granatelli MAF, I know for a fact that does not help.

If you look at the Octane rating in the owners book I think it says Premium only.

Indeed it does. I think it is on the dash and the gas door also. The other problem is that MAF, they tend to lean the mixture out....that is how they get the 5-10 hp they "claim".

Yeah i would say ditch the maf for sure and go stock again.

dam i didnt know you had to run 93 octan i will sell my mass airflow sener lol 200

The VHO has the same high compression motor as the SS Silverado. Premium ONLY!!! Glad you did not blow that thing up rattleing it like that!

I always run 87, Where does it say premium only?
