I think it's only offered in certain states Texas being one of them. Get one next time you are down here en el Valle.

My friend has an 03SS w/ intake, flows, and superchips. Brother has an 04 VHO with Mangnaflow only. Raised many times.

SS much faster out of the hole. 1/2 to 1 car length. VHO shines after about 50+ mph. Pulls about 1-2 car lengths by 100mph. I need to get it on video for you guys.

I might believe the 13.8 part if it was running slicks and had a big converter. But I don't believe the 99 mph part. Thats way too high for just an intake and handheld tuner.

When I was down there this past winter I roamed a few gm dealers and didnt see any. Burt Ogden and Payne Motors didnt have any, I never did check Clark or Roberts. I wont get **** for mine on trade-in in the valley though!

i have an 04 ss with just intake and exhaust and it went 14.57 at edingburg raceway
it's obvious the SS has more drag so stock for stock the vho should take it because lets face it no stock truck has traction problems that 13.8 is a hell of an e.t. though you would figure he would have traction probs... just my .02

I raced one SS, with exhaust not sure what else, a few times off the line and noticed about the same differential. You'd think that the AWD would provide a bigger jump in the first 60 feet or so. I guess a bigger stall would help out. If a car length or less is all you're getting, I say go with the VHO and lose the weight and rotating mass unless you're planning to build it up a lot.

Sorry guys, but this now falls into that category of "I gotta see it to believe it". Not slamming anyone, Its just my nature. There is a LOT of horsepower required to move that brick through the quarter in 13.8 seconds @ 99mph. One calculator I checked said 370 hp at the wheels. Has he backed it up? I have received the wrong timeslip at the track before, maybe that happened?
