Default Vho???

Where the heck are all of ya'll getting these new trucks with the VHO's??

I'm seriously thinking of selling my 04 5.3 and getting one.

I keep seeing that they're putting the SS's 6.0 in the new trucks and i even saw they're putting in a HO 5.3??

Ah i want one. I live in the DFW area where can i get one? Do they have to be specially ordered??

THANKS

Most large dealerships will have one or two to choose from on their lots.
Should not be a problem finding one in Texas. They are popular here.
I bought mine in Houston. Just go to your largest Chevy dealership that's closest to you and check them out. If they do not have one, have them locate one for you.
That doesn't decrease your bargining power. At least it didn't for me.
My dealership didn't have one on their lot at the time I wanted to purchase.
They located what I wanted and then we dealed from there. I talked mine down from 34,700 to 27,800.
Good luck!

Jim

most dealers don't stock them, but they can get you one. just go to the dealer and ask him for a performance package C1500 short box extended cab. they can run the dealer locator using option b4v and excluding option b4u.

I got mine at Moritz on Camp Bowie in Ft Worth. They had one on the lot, but I special ordered mine to get it without the XM or onstar so I could get rid of the antenas on the roof, and to get the color I wanted.
