Default Vette Servo/Billet Servo ?'s

Would it be pointless to get a vette/billet servo without getting a shift kit to compliment it? Do most of you with vett/billet servos have shift kits?

vette servos and billet servos are two different things. the billet servos would help with out a shift kit but you really can't take full advantage of the billets with out the shift kit. shift its are cheap and should really come in our trucks stock becasue the 4l60e is a peice of crap. only my opinion

i have just the vette servo and raised shift pressure from a hand held tuner. the truck shifts much better than stock but i still want quicker and firmer shifts that a shift kit will provide.
